He did represent himself consistently as "representing the Rothschilds" and was shielded from local and state law enforcement in the US as "an intelligence asset", presumably CIA & Mossad.
He worked as an advisor and consultant for Edmond de Rothschild Group. Leaked emails and legal documents show that Epstein was paid $25 million by the bank to provide strategic business advice, tax consulting, and business development.
Epstein’s wealth, global mobility, and access to the world's most powerful people made him an ideal "free agent" or influencer for intelligence services, even if he was never formally a spy.
He’s a different animal than the broker class that I profile in my thesis, although he did act as a broker on occasion. The broker class are not normally super wealthy or part of the transnational capitalist class that they work for but Epstein was part of the TCC which makes him a faction networker or “switchboard.”
OK, I’m just reacting against your “coordinating these various projects” which grants him a different category of operator and allows that there is coordination between various projects. That indicates that there is an overall agenda by unseen actors… This is key to what my thesis is refuting.

Wealthy and powerful people have to do deals. That is all I intend to imply. Agents of any sort who can facilitate that are useful to them, when they might be discovered as such.

I would say that Epstein was an access agent who bought and sold information and used blackmail to protect himself… Which backfired by the looks of it
